Fran's Daughter @ SXSW
3rd Year director Eric Martin's film Fran's Daughter will premiere at SXSW next month. Margaret takes care of her mother Fran, an Alzheimer’s patient. When a stranger arrives bearing a letter from Fran, questions arise that challenge Margaret’s most basic assumptions.
Director Dallas King
Dallas King's short film Little Soldier will premiere at the Pan African Film Festival this evening. Daniel struggles to get past his bed-wetting problem while his military Dad grows frustrated. Only Daniel’s belief in his toys coming alive to fight the monster in the closet responsible for the bedwetting will restore the love between a father and a son. Read an interview with Dallas, that first appeared in The Daily Bruin last November: 'Graduate film student Dallas King uses personal experiences as inspiration for his movies, gives back to community.'
