Fran's Daughter @ SXSW
3rd Year director Eric Martin's film Fran's Daughter will premiere at SXSW next month. Margaret takes care of her mother Fran, an Alzheimer’s patient. When a stranger arrives bearing a letter from Fran, questions arise that challenge Margaret’s most basic assumptions.
Director Dallas King
Dallas King's short film Little Soldier will premiere at the Pan African Film Festival this evening. Daniel struggles to get past his bed-wetting problem while his military Dad grows frustrated. Only Daniel’s belief in his toys coming alive to fight the monster in the closet responsible for the bedwetting will restore the love between a father and a son. Director Lucas Mireles
It's been a great year for 3rd Year director Lucas Mireles so far. His film 'Hijo de mi Madre' screened at Slamdance in February, and his film 'Love Analysis' will screen at SXSW on March 11th at 11:30pm.

Planting Hope
A promo for Planting Hope shot by Chris Carrea and directed by Kimberly Townes, and sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Planting Hope documents Master Topiary Surrealist, Pearl Fryar and his campaign to provide funding for high school graduates that show promise despite having low test scores and GPAs. This project will be the first of it’s kind to document the virtues of the Pearl Fryar Garden and his transformational message about hard work, talent and success.
The film is an official finalist in Time Warner Cable's Short Film Contest on YouTube in association with IFC Films.

Documentary Trailer: Above The Fold
Above the Fold, produced by Roberto Gudino. A one hour documentary about a group of young Latino journalists who respond to negative portrayals of Latinos in the Los Angeles Times by writing their own stories. They were vindicated in 1984 when they became the first Latinos to win the Pulitzer Prize.
